In dusty and clear days, the KC-1000 type high flow sampler was used to collect aerosol samples in the Qingdao coastal region during Mar 2013-Apt 2013. Thirdy five fungi were purified from the aerosol samples and identified as the genera of Ascomycota, Penicillittra, Cladosporium, Aspergillus, A lternarina, Chaetomidium, Epicoccum, Curvu'laria and Lichtheimio, by ITSrDNA. Fungi species in different dusty days might vary, mainly due to the source of dust origin, but the dominant fungi were Aspergillus. The number of fungi species in a dusty day was less than that in a clear day. Five pathogenic fungi were identified including Aspergillus, Alternarina, Curvularia, Claclosporium, and Penicillium. The abundance of pathogenic fungi and toxigenic fungi in a dusty day were much higher than those in a clear day. It showed potential health risk to human health.
