20世纪40年代初,梁实秋曾在重庆北碚的汉藏教理院作过一次演讲。这次演讲由该院学僧弘悲记录,后以《宗教僧侣与世界文化》为题发表在1944年出版的《世界佛学苑汉藏教理院特刊》。《宗教僧侣与世界文化》这篇演讲佚文,是梁实秋研究资料中的一则重要史料,它不仅反映了梁实秋对宗教与文化二者关系的独特见解,同时也为我们理解梁实秋"雅舍"期间的文学生活提供了新的史料。

In the early 1940s,Liang Shiqiu had went to Chongqing Beibei Sino-Tibetan Buddhist College and made a speech in there.The speech Religious monks and world culture which recorded by HongBei and published in 1944 Special issue of Sino-Tibetan Buddhist college.This speech is an important historical materials of Liang Shi-qiu researching,it not only reflects Liang Shi-qiu’s unique insights of the relations between the religious and cultural,as well as improve our understanding of Liang Shiqiu’s literary life during the period of YaShe.
