On the Understanding of Semantic Meaning in Context

语境是言语交际所依赖的环境,具有确定性、相对性、层次性、传递性、对称性和自返性。语境影响和制约语义,影响交际双方话语的表达和理解,对语义的理解应是在语境所允许的各种因素意义中作出恰如其分的选择。

Context is the environment in which discourse communication exists. It is characterized with definition, relativity, transmission, and symmetry etc.. The expression and understanding of utterances are influenced and restricted by context. The correct understanding of the meaning should be appropriate selection of meaning involving all kinds of factors in context.
