Study on Friction Characteristics Between Ball and Cage of Precision Bearings

摘要 针对精密轴承球与保持架的滑动摩擦系数较小且不易测量的特点,提出了一种由静压气浮直线导轨和气浮轴承支承的摩擦系数测试装置。利用该装置测试了轴承球与保持架兜孔在不同润滑剂,不同材料配副和不同工况条件下的摩擦系数。结果表明,钢球与钢保持架之间的滑动摩擦系数随转速的升高而降低,润滑剂粘度大,摩擦系数小;对于陶瓷球与钢保持架的接触,摩擦系数具有相同的变化规律,但整体偏小。 For the sliding friction coefficient between ball and cage of precision bearing is small and difficult to measure, a friction coefficient tester is put forward. The tester is supported by air guide and air bearing. The friction coefficient between ball and cage under different lubricant, pair of materials and working conditions is measured by this tester. The results showed that the friction coefficient of steel ball and steel cage decreased with the increasing of ball speed,and the coefficient became smaller when the lubricant viscosity reached high value. The friction coefficient performed the same change rules in the contact between ceramic ball and steel cage, while the value was comparatively lower.
