Reliability and Validity of the Marlowe-crowne Social Desirability Scale in Middle School Students

目的:对中文简版马洛-克罗恩社会赞许性量表(MCSD)在中学生群体中进行信效度检验。方法:通过4次抽样,初次调查20人对MCSD进行条目可理解性检验;再测调查1080人对MCSD进行项目分析与探索性因素分析,通过删减形成正式中文简版;正式调查569人进行两参数罗吉斯谛模型分析以检验MCSD的结构和条目特性,受测者同时完成平衡社会赞许量表(BIDR)和罗森博格自尊量表(RSES)检验效标关联效度。另抽取46人进行4周重测信度检验。结果:中文简版MCSD共13个条目,KR-20信度系数为0.709,四周重测组内相关系数为0.742,单因子模型各主要拟合指标为χ2/df=1.44,CFI=0.97,TLI=0.96,WRMR=0.90,RMSEA=0.03。MCSD与BIDR两个分量表自欺提升(SDE)的相关为0.30,与印象管理(IM)的相关为0.58,与RSES的相关为0.17(均P<0.01)。结论:中文简版MCSD具有较好的信效度,是测量中学生社会赞许反应的适宜工具。

Objective： To examine the reliability and validity of the short version of Marlowe-crowne Social Desirability Scale（MCSD） in Chinese middle school students. Methods： In 1080 students, using exploratory factor analysis（EFA） and two-parameter logistic model（2PLM）, the short version of MCSD were constructed with 17 items deleted. After that, 569 stu- dents were asked to complete a battery of structured questionnaires, including the Chinese short version of MCSD, Balanced Inventory of Desirable Responding（BIDR）, Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale（RSES）. 46 students were chosen for four-weeks test-retest reliability. Results： The result of 2 PLM showed that the structure of the MCSD was acceptable： χ2/df=1.44, CFI=0.94, TLI=0.96, WRMR=0.06, RMSEA=0.03. The KR-20 coefficient of the MCSD was 0.701. The test-retest reliabili- ties（4 weeks interval） was 0.742（ICC）. For the total score of MCSD, the correlation coefficients were 0.30 to self-deceptive enhencement subscale of the BIDR, 0.58 to impression management subscale of the BIDR, 0.17 to RSES（Ps〈0.01）. Conclu- sion： Chinese short Version of MCSD is a reliable and valid instrument for assessing social desriability response in Chinese culture.
