During the actual operation of ball mill in Beneficiation Plant of Ya Mining Corporation of Ba Yi Iron and Steel Co. , Ltd. , frequent ore leakage affects the operating efficiency of equipment. Through observation and research, it＇ s found out that the main reason behind this is irrationality in the design of stiffened plate structure at discharge end. Renovation is carried out to address this problem and desirable effects are achieved.
