On Christian Factors in Mu Dan's Poems

穆旦诗歌中的基督教因素引起了研究者对这一主题的研究热潮,但对于基督教之于穆旦的影响程度,学者们存在各种分歧。事实上,基督教的部分观念潜移默化在穆旦的诗作中,基督教所论及的人类生存问题也成为穆旦所思考的问题,引发他在生存观向度的思考并本能地向彼岸寻求出路。不过,穆旦本身的思想观念与基督教信仰有着内在的冲突,其对基督教思想有部分的接受,但最终仍旧选择了远离。

While many scholars have paid due attention to Christian factors in Mu Dan’ s poems, they have been divided as to the degree of influence of Christianity on Mu Dan. As a matter of fact, under a subtle impact of some Christian factors in his poems, Mu Dan also pondered upon human survival, which is involved in Christianity, thus leading to his consideration on the notion of human survival as well as to his instinctive quest of a way out. However, due to the inherent conflict between his ideology and the Christian faith, Mu Dan still opted to keep away from Christianity despite his acceptance of some part of Christian thought.
