《四库全书总目》与《人间词话》词论之比较

A Comparative Study of Ci Theories in The General Catalogue of Si Ku Quan Shu and Ren Jian Ci Hua

《四库全书总目》是中国古代官方正统学术的代表之作,其"词曲类"提要对清中期之前的词学发展历程进行了深入总结,是中国古代词学发展结穴之作。而《人间词话》则是中国现代词学开端的典范之作。王国维虽多次援引《四库全书总目》的观点,但由于受二者所处的时代文化背景、作者著述立场不同等因素的影响,两部作品不论是在词学观还是对具体作家的评价方面都存在明显的差异。文章通过二者的比较研究力图呈现中国词学理论的演进历程。

The General Catalogue of Si Ku Quan Shu , a representative of orthodox learning in ancient China and its synopsis of Ci and Qu being an insightful summary of the development of Ci- poetics prior to the mid Qing Dynasty, is an epitome of Ci-poetics development in ancient China;while Ren Jian Ci Hua is a masterpiece for the initiation of modern Ci poetics in China. Despite Wang Guowei’ s repeated quotations of some ideas from The Gener-al Catalogue of Si Ku Quan Shu, there are still distinct differences between the two books in their respective Ci-po-etics and concrete assessment of specific writers due to the impact of such factors as their diverse cultural back-grounds and writing positions. This paper attempts to present the evolution process of Chinese Ci-study theory through a comparative study of the two works.
