语言是社会文化的载体,必然从某种程度上反映出一个特定社会所具有的独特文化。同样,翻译也是文化的载体,是一种跨文化的交际活动,其目的不仅在于传承原文本身的语言价值,还在于使读者更准确地体会其文化涵义。本文旨在通过对中西方宗教信仰,风俗习惯,思维方式等方面的差异的分析,阐述中西方文化差异对翻译产生的影响。

Language is the carrier of society culture, meanwhile it will inevitably reflect the unique culture of a particular society. Similarly, translation is the carrier of culture, is a kind of cross - cultural communication. Its purpose is not only to inherit the original value of the language itself, also to make the reader more accurately understand its cultural meaning. This article is to elaborate the influence of Chinese and Western cultural differences on translation by analyzing the differences on religious beliefs, customs and habits and thinking mode.
