从小说《边城》看语言与文化的关系

The Relationship of Language and Culture from the Perspective of "The Border Town"

《边城》是著名小说家沈从文最具代表性的作品。该小说语言独特鲜明,富有诗意,吸取了湘西地区方言,展现了湘西地区独特的习俗与文化。本文尝试结合小说文本,从社会语言学的角度来阐释语言与文化的关系。

＂The Border Town＂ is the most representative work of the famous novelist Shen Congwen. Drawing Xiangxi dialects, the language of this novel is very unique, distinctive and poetic. So the unique customs and culture in Xiangxi area are demon- strated vividly. From the perspective of social linguistics, this paper attempts to combine the novel text to explain the relationship between language and culture.
