An Exploration of Kirgiz National Instrument Called Choor

在我国古代各民族的丰富多彩的民间吹管乐器中,有一种乐器年代非常久远,至今仍在新疆南部的帕米尔高原柯尔克孜族的牧民中广泛流传着,它被本族人称之为"却奥尔"(choor)。论文在田野调查的基础上,拟从柯尔克孜族"却奥尔"的命名、制作、吹奏方式、音律作品等方面进行初步的探究。

Among the diversified Chinese national wind instruments,there is a widly spread one played by Kirgiz nationality living in Pamir Plateau in South of Xinjiang. It is called Choor which is an old musical instrument. This paper tries to make a preliminary study on Choor from the perspective of naming,fabrication process, the way of playing wind instrument and rhythm in an attempt to offer an help for the other muhicians to make a further study.
