Cisplitin microspheres embolization to the external carotid for 26 cases of advanced head and neck cancer

目的 :经动脉灌注DDP ms联合栓塞治疗 2 6例晚期鼻窦癌和舌癌。方法 :经seldinger s选择性插管灌注含DDP ms的“PFB”化疗药物。结果 :完全缓解 2例、部分缓解 16例、轻度缓解 6例 ,无效 2例 ,总有效率 69 2 3 %。结论 :表明选择性插管为头颈癌的区域化疗提供了一种有效的给药方式 ,DDP

Objective:To study the therapeutic effect of cisplatin microspheres(DDP-ms) Twenty sixth cases of advanced paranasal sinus and tongue cancers were treated by chemical infusion and superselective artery chemoembolization with cisplatin microspherers. Methods:The infusion chemotherapy and embolization of superselective artery were performed by the Seldingers technique,drugs composed of cisplatin,5 Fluoronracil and bleomycin,DDP ms was used for chemoembolization. Results:Of these 26 cases,2 cases showed complete remissien.16 Partial remissen,6 minor response and 1 no change,the total response rate was 69 23%. Conclusions:These results suggested that infusion into the branches of cervical external artery,could be used as an effective therapeutic method,and DDP ms combined with FU and BLM might be more cffective for advanced head and neck cancer.
