The application of PDCA cycle in improve the rate of reported nursing adverse events

目的探讨PDCA循环在提高护理不良事件上报率管理中的应用效果。方法应用PDCA循环针对医院护理不良事件上报率低的现状进行管理,观察应用PDCA循环后与应用前护理不良事件上报率的变化情况。结果实施PDCA循环管理模式后与实施前相比,护理不良事件上报率得到明显提高,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 PDCA循环能有效提高护理不良事件上报率,为护理安全管理决策的制定提供依据,使本院护理不良事件管理科学化、规范化、制度化,为患者安全提供保证。

Objective To explore the effect of PDCA cycle application in improving the rate of reported nursing adverse events. Methods To apply the PDCA cycle in the manage of the low rate of reported adverse events in the hospital , compared the changes of the rate of reported nursing adverse events after the application with before. Results Compared with before, after the implementation of PDCA cycle management model, the rate of reported adverse nursing events increased significantly, the difference of two groups was statistically significant （P 〈 0.05 ）. Conclusion PDCA cycle can effectively increase the rate of reported adverse nursing events, provide the basis for the decision making of nursing safety management, make the management of adverse nursing events more scientific, standardized and institutionalized and ensure the safety of the patients.
