摘要
在珠宝首饰的消费中,人们选择了一种品牌也就选择了一种文化。作为欧美派系代表,美国蒂芙尼传递着欧美的钻石文化,周大福则是华人珠宝品牌的代表。两个代表性珠宝品牌主打着截然不同的设计风格,周大福古典传统,蒂芙尼时尚前卫,但随着东西方文化的交流与融合,两者也表现出一些共性。设计风格异同具体体现在设计理念、材质、色彩、形态、元素和功能等设计要素上,其背后是东西方文化的差异与融合。本文从设计理念、材质、色彩、形态、元素和功能等设计要素比较周大福和蒂芙尼的设计风格,分析异同并探究设计风格的文化成因。
In jewelry consumption, people choose a brand thus choosing a culture. As the representative of European and American brands, Tiffany from the United States conveys the diamond culture, while Chow Tai Fook from Hong Kong is the representative of Chinese jewelry brands. These two typical jewelry brands are featured with different styles. Chow Tai Fook is classical and traditional while Tiffany is fashionable and avant garde. Howev er, with the communication and integration of Eastern and Western cultures, they also pres- ent some similarities. Jewelry design style reflects the differences and integration of the cul- ture and is reflected in design elements such as design concept, material, colour, shape, ele- ments, function and so on. Therefore, this article compares the design style of Chow Tai Fook and Tiffany based on these design elements, analyzes their differences and similari- ties, and explores the causes from a cultural perspective.
