This paper introduces the structure of slot tube, states the principle of seepage and studies the calculation method of seepage flow quantity. Finally, with a tailings dam as an example, the calculation method of the equivalent diameter of the filter layer and the seepage quantity of a single slot tube is obtained through analysis. The validity of the calculation method of slot tube seepage flow is verified.
