“老师”内涵的去道德化与教育者社会形象的重建 被引量:6

The Amoralized “Laoshi”and Image-Reconstruction of Educators

摘要 在中国教育文化传统中,"老师"是一个集"传道"、"授业"和"解惑"于一身的三位一体的概念。然而,自科举开考以来,"老师"的价值内涵开始日渐游离其"传道"使命,进而使"老师"日渐作为一种在社会诸多行业领域都被广泛使用的对"前辈同行"的敬称。尤其是20世纪80年代以来,在学校教育行政化和市场化的形势驱动下,"老师"内涵的去道德化,不仅使学校教师的职业边界变得日渐模糊,也从根本上削弱了专业教师的师道尊严。我们应当重申"老师"称谓对其称说对象的人格要求和教养责任,进而通过教育者作为"公众人物"的社会形象的重建,使一切名之为"老师"的真正担负起其作为"潜在教育者"所应尽的道德自律和人格示范的社会教育使命。 In tradition of Chinese educational culture, "Laoshi" (school teacher) is a triad concept which refers to "preaching a sermon", "giving lectures" and "explaining puzzles" simultaneously. With the old examination system began in China, the concept of "Laoshi" had been drifting away from its mission of "preaching a sermon", and then turned "Laoshi" into a term of respect as "senior colleague" which widely used in many social areas. Since 1980s, the concept "Laoshi" has become further amoralized under the pressure of administrative and marketpproach in schools, which not only blurred the vocational boundary of school teachers but also extremely weakened teacher' s dignity. While which all teachers should do is not to strictly limit the usage of the term "Laoshi", on the contrary, we ought to reaffirm the personality request and educational responsibility of the calling title "Laoshi", and then make each one called "Laoshi" take his or her social education mission of moral self-control and personality demonstration as "hidden educator" through a social image reconstruction of educator as "public figure".
