美国主流媒体对我国南海政策的误读分析——以《华盛顿邮报》为例

On the Misinterpretation of the American Mainstream Media to China's South China Sea Policy and China's Countermeasures:With The Washington Post as an Example

西方尤其是美国主流媒体对我国南海政策均存在不同程度的误读。以《华盛顿邮报》为例,美国主流媒体主要渲染中国威胁论、中国霸权论、中国挑衅论,同时质疑中国对南海的主权依据,并鼓吹美国应重返亚太遏制中国。出现这种情况的原因主要包括:美国主流媒体坚持国际新闻的报道要与本国外交政策保持一致的原则,以及意识形态和价值观念的差异导致长期以来对中国认知的偏颇等。为此,建议理性看待美国主流媒体有关南海问题的立场;继续坚定维护南海国家主权的信心和决心;努力掌握舆论主动权,以争取更好的外部理解;加快推进"一带一路"建设,将我国和包括南海周边国家在内的沿线国家打造成利益共同体和命运共同体。

Different degrees of misinterpretations on China＇ s South China Sea policy exist in the West, especial- ly the American mainstream media. With The Washington Post as an example, the American mainstream media mainly propagate the China threat theory, the Chinese hegemony theory and the Chinese provocation theory, while questioning the evidence of China＇ s sovereignty over the South China Sea and preaching the return of the United States to Asia - Pacific area so as to contain China. The main reasons lie in the principle of unity among the American mainstream media that the international news reports should adhere to America＇ s foreign policy, as well as the long- term cognitive prejudices against China that result from the differences in ideologies and val- ues. Therefore, it is suggested to rationally treat the American mainstream media＇ s stance on the South China Sea issue, firmly strengthen the ver the South China Sea, strive and accelerate the construction confidence and determination of continually safeguarding for the initiative of public opinions so as to gain a better of One Belt, One Road so as to establish a community China＇ s sovereignty o- external understanding, of common benefit and destiny among China and other countries along the South China Sea.
