黎族作家在作品中对空间感的强调,体现了对民族意识的追溯,以此重建本民族的文化身份;通过文学手段整理、还原、重构黎族文化传统,让民族意识既诉诸文字、又从书写的世界中走出,探问"谁是黎族"。他们以文学的形式一次次回到与先人和传统对话的场景,感怀先人、接续和甄别传统,重拾在现代生活中可能被遗落的文化记忆,在文化乡愁中反刍历史的晶体,为民族的继续前行寻回坚定的目光和坚韧的筋骨。

The emphasis of space in the works of the authors of Li Nationality exhibits the trace to the ethnic consciousness, which is adopted to reestablish the ethnic cultural identity. The compilation, restoration and re- construction of the Li cultural conventions by means of the literary techniques make the ethnic consciousness ex- pressed in words and meantime walk out of the writing world, invoking that ＂who the Li people are＂. By virtue of literature, they keep recreating the scenes of communicating with the ancestors and traditions, commemorating the ancestors as well as inheriting and discriminating the traditions. Thus the cultural memories that might have been lost in the modernlife can be regained, and the historical quintessence can be ruminated in the cultural nostalgia, which aim to retrieve the firm vision and the tough body for the continual progress of the Li people.
