An automatic control system of fixed multi-tooth dividing table calibration device was introduced. The software and hardware designing of the system is developed, the base motion as mesh- apart, rotation and mesh of multi-tooth dividing table could automatically accomplished with no person operation, and the measurement value of autocollimator could be acquired in real time, so that to make use convenient and enhanced work efficiency. In addition, the protect function against breaking tooth and high speed turning was designed in the system. The multi-tooth dividing table and autocollimator could be placed in single organic glass cover. So the effect of physical hand temperature, air temperature and airflow was decreased, and the instability of displayed value of autocollimator was reduced. The measurement repetitiveness could be enhanced by every accurate position motion of the automatic control system.
