This paper gives an introduction of the present situation of the general research in the fire－retardant finishing technology for decorative textiles at home and abroad as well as the characteristics of all the fire－retardant finishing methods. The paper lays emphasis on the introduction of the research in the finishing technology of endurable fire retardant of decorative textiles, and probes into its process, characteristics and influencing factors.
