Effect of Nb on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Cu-Zr-Al-Y Glass Forming Alloys

摘要 利用铜模喷铸工艺制备了准2mm棒状(Cu45Zr45Al6Y4)100-xNbx(x=0,1 at%,2 at%,3 at%)合金试样。通过对试样进行XRD、DSC、单轴压缩、SEM及EDS分析,探究了Nb的添加对Cu45Zr45Al6Y4-合金非晶形成能力、组织结构以及力学性能的影响。结果表明:Nb降低该合金系的非晶形成能力(GFA),促进晶相析出;1at%Nb添加有利于在(Cu45Zr45Al6Y4)100-xNbx块体非晶基体内获取高体积分数的B2-Cu Zr强韧相,从而明显提高了合金的室温塑性。 (Cu45Zr45Al6Y4)100-xNbx(x=0, 1, 2, 3 at%) glass forming alloy rods with a diameter of 2 mm were prepared by spraying Cu-mould cast. By XRD,DSC,uniaxial compression,SEM and EDS analysis, the effects of Nb on the glass forming ability,microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloys were studied. The results show that the addition of Nb reduces the glass forming ability(GFA) of the alloy, promotes the generation of crystal phase. Within the scope of the experiment, the alloy with addition of 1 at% Nb has high volume fraction of B2-Cu Zr tough phase, thus the plasticity of the alloy obviously improves.
