利用市场化运作模式助益公共图书馆各项工作的开展

Utilizing the Market-oriented Operation Mode to Support and Benefit the Works in the Public Libraries

在社会主义市场经济日益发展的今天,作为公共文化事业单位的公共图书馆,目前仍存在着效率低下、活力不足、适应能力不强等问题。究其根本原因,就是公共图书馆的管理模式陈旧,与市场脱节。论文试图通过几个简单事例,说明在保证公共图书馆公益性的前提下,适当地利用市场化运作模式对图书馆进行改造,对于解决公共图书馆存在的问题,对于其各项工作开展都是大有益处的。

With the development of the socialist market economic system, public libraries, as institutions for the public culture, are currently facing issues such as inefficiency, inactivity, incapable to adapt and so forth. The fundamental cause for these problems is the outdated management model utilized in public libraries, which is unsuitable to the market. Based on several examples, the paper tends to clarify the idea that proper utilization of the market-oriented operation mode to transform public libraries, while keeping their public nature, is of great benefits to all the library works.
