PBOC issued drat rules on third-party payments, limiting payment by virtual account balance of up to RMB5,000 per day and RMB200,000 a year. Many P2P platforms have been using thirdparty payment virtual accounts for cash management services for the large amount of transactions with many dif erent lenders. he new rules aim to reduce idle cash sitting with payment companies and direct them back to focus on technology and payment channel services.
