Chen Baogui's Experiences of Using Shanzhuyu and Tusizi and Shigao

陈宝贵教授的用药经验与清朝末年中西汇通派代表人物张锡纯一脉相承。将陈宝贵教授临诊方剂用药频次与《医学衷中参西录》、《医林锥指》中的药物做横向比较,发现陈宝贵教授的常用药亦是张锡纯先生、柳学洙先生平日善用的药材。陈教授常用药物有:山茱萸、菟丝子、石膏。

Professor Chen Bao -guig experiences of using medicine ean be traced to the same origin of Zhang Xi-chun, the representative who advocated to combine traditional Chinese medicine with Western medicine in late Qing Dynasty. Comparing Professor Chen＇s clinical prescriptions frequency with the drugs in Records of Chinese Medicine with Reference to Western Medicine and Yilin Zhuizhi, it is discovered that Professor Chen＇s common choice of drugs are the ones that Master Zhang Xi - chun and Master Liu Xue -zhu were good at using. They are as follows： Shanzhuyu （Arillus Corni ） ; Tusizi （Semen Cuscutae） ; Shigao （Gypsum Fibrosum）.
