Zhu Jiqing's Anti-Japanese Activities in Western Areas of Liaoning Province

"九·一八"事变以后,日本迅速占领了东北地区主要大城市和交通枢纽,并快速向辽西地区推进,辽西地区成为重要的抗日前沿阵地。朱霁青满怀爱国激情,毅然奔赴家乡,组织东北国民救国军总监部,率领军队投身抗战第一线,在一定程度上延缓了日军占领东北的进程,为热河抗战和长城抗战争取了时间,更显示了中华民族不屈的抗争精神。

After the ＂September 18＂ Incidence, the Japanese quickly occupied the major cities and transportation hubs in Northeast China, and fast forward to western Liaoning Province. Then, western Liaoning became an important anti-Japanese frontier. Zhu Jiqing, with full patriotic fervor, decided to go to his hometown, organizing directory department of the Northeast National Salvation Army, led the army to join the fL,＇st line of the war. To a certain extent,it delayed the process of the Japanese occupation of the Northeast, gained time for the Rehe War and the Great Wall War, and showed indomitable fighting spirit of the Chinese nation.
