系统功能语言学关照下的大学英语阅读浅析

Analysis of College English Reading from the Perspective of Systemic Functional Linguistics

阅读既是英语学习的主要目标,又是学习英语的重要手段,也是大学英语教学的重、难点。本文在系统功能语言学系统理论和功能理论的框架下,认为英语阅读应从语篇的宏观特征入手,把握篇章体裁、系统结构潜势和主旨大意等要素的同时理解细节,有利于学习者提高阅读效率和效果。同时对大学英语常见语篇的典型特征及其阅读方法进行了具体探讨,以期指导大学英语阅读实践。

Reading is the objective and approach of college English learning.The paper analyzes the macro characteristics of reading text,such as genre,theme,structure potential and purport in the framework of systemic functional linguistics theory. And then,the typical characteristics and reading methods of common English texts are discussed.
