高等教育转型发展战略与路径研究——以酒店管理专业为例

自20世纪80年代中期至90年代末期的高等教育体制改革全面展开,新世纪改革开放步伐的加快,中国高等院校无论在数量上还是在规模上都出现了突飞猛进的发展之势。随着高等教育的不断普及、社会需求的变化以及国际竞争力的不断加剧,中国高等教育正面临着一次重大的转型与变革。中国过往的高等教育已经无法适应社会对于人才的需求,人才培养模式上的创新迫在眉睫。本文首先分析了中国高等教育所存在的问题;其次探讨了人才培养模式的创新作为高等教育转型发展战略的重要性,并以酒店管理专业为例,探讨了酒店管理专业转型发展的战略——建立VPI人才培养模式。最后提出高等教育转型发展的路径,同时还是以酒店管理专业为例,提出可行性的变革方式。

Since the full development of the reform on Chinese higher education system as well as the acceleration of the open-up policy from late 80s to late 90s last century, Chinese colleges and universities, no matter in relation to quantity or scale, had been developing dramatically. However, with the popularization of higher education in China, the constant change of the social demands and intensified international competitiveness, Chinese higher education is facing a major transition and transformation. The outdated education system cannot cater for the social demands, therefore, an innovative education scheme is what＇s needed the most.This thesis first analyzes the existing issues for Chinese higher education; secondly, it talks about the importance of innovation on education scheme as a developing strategy for the transition and transformation of Chinese higher education. And hotel management is taken as an example to demonstrate the innovative education scheme specifically for this major- VPI education scheme. Last, it talk about the methods of accomplishing this transition and transformation for Chinese higher education, which also takes hotel management as an example, proposing viable ways.
