汉字性质研究方法论——“一面看”与“两面看”和“向下看”与“向上看”

Methodologies on the Research of the Properties of Chinese Characters——“from Single Side ” or “from Double Sides” and “Look down ” or “Look up ”

认真反思全面清理研究方法乃是化解汉字性质研判异说纷呈局面的重要途径。在此前讨论的基础上,文章就直接影响汉字性质界定的两个问题——即考察立论基础单位时,是"一面看"还是"两面看",是"向下看"还是"向上看"——进行深入论析;并在更大范围内为汉字属于"表意文字"和"语素文字"的观点提供证明。

To solve the different views on the properties of Chinese characters,we need to clarify the methodologies in this field. Based on the previous discussion,this paper intends to analyze two issues which directly influence the criteria in judging the properties of Chinese characters- how to fully analyze theoretical research units including 'from single side'or 'from double sides'; 'look down'or 'look up'. The analysis provides evidence in the broader scope for the view whether Chinese characters are morpheme writings or ideographic ones.
