Construction of College English Teaching and Learning Model Based on the Flipped Classroom

课前预习和课堂参与是有效学习过程中的两个重要环节。作者就当前大学生英语课前预习和课堂参与度的现状进行了调查,发现当前大学英语教学存在不足之处。作者借鉴近年来新兴的翻转课堂教学模式,实现了课前预习的自主化和课堂互动的多样化,构建了一种调动学生在课堂内外积极参与英语语言实践的大学英语教学模式。

Previews before class and participation in class are two important parts of effective learning. An investigation was carried out on the present college students＇ preview before English classes and their participation in English classes in order to find out the problems in current college English teaching and learning. The purpose is to achieve autonomy of previews before class and diversity of interac- tions in class through the recently rising flipped classroom, aimed at constructing an English teaching and learning model which can mo- tivate students to practice the target language in and out of classroom.
