Due to the trends of the popularization of higher education development, the higher education in our country is developing rapidly. The English major in civilian-run colleges is facing very serious challenges. If the application-oriented civilian-run English major wants to survive and develop in the challenges, it has to improve the employment competitiveness. Therefore, it should establish the system of employment competitiveness meeting the requirements of self-development and strengthen the employability of the students.
