摘要
从符号学角度对艺术作品所作的美学研究被莫里斯称作符号学美学。中国古典诗歌是中国文学史的瑰宝,从符号学美学视角分析古诗英译,有助于译者对艺术符号及美学知觉的特异性作出分析,并将其融入译诗的创作中。文章通过阐述符号学美学的三大分支——美学语形学、美学语义学和美学语用学在古诗英译中的作用,提出在古诗英译过程中诗歌应作为一个单一的艺术符号进行阐释,翻译时不仅要重视符号艺术形式上的相互关系,还要重视译诗语用价值的实现。
Aesthetic study of works of art from the perspective of semiotics is called aesthetic Semiotics by Morris. Chinese classical poetry is the gem of Chinese literature, the analysis of the English translation of ancient Chinese poetry from the perspective of semiotics aesthetics will help the translator to analyze the specificity of the art signs and aesthetic perception and incorporate it the translation of the poetry. This paper, by explaining the important roles of aesthetics syntactics, semantics and pragrnatics in the process of English translation of Chinese poetry, proposes that the translator should pay a special attention to the interrelation of the signs in form, the pragmatic value as well as interpretation of the poem as a single art sign in the English translation of classical Chinese poetry.
