针刺和中药治疗改善绝经期妇女生活质量疗效比较

Therapeutic Comparison Between Acupuncture and Chinese Medication in Improving the Quality of Life in Post-menopausal Women

目的观察针刺和中药治疗对绝经期妇女生活质量改善的效果。方法采用绝经期生活质量评分量表(menopause rating scale,MRS)来评估绝经期妇女的生活质量。30例MRS评分≥20分的绝经期妇女被随机分入针刺组和中药组,各接受4星期治疗。治疗后、随访期再次进行MRS评分,与治疗前MRS评分进行比较。结果针刺组与中药组相比,患者MRS评分下降更显著,治疗前与治疗后比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.001),治疗前与随访期比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论毫针针刺对绝经期妇女生活质量的改善效果优于中药治疗。

Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture and Chinese medication in improving the quality of life in post-menopausal women. Method The menopause Rating Scale（MRS） was adopted to evaluate the quality of life in post-menopausal women. Thirty post-menopausal women of MRS ≥20 were randomized into an acupuncture group and a Chinese medication group to respectively receive 4-week treatment. They were scored again by using MRS at the end of intervention and during the follow-up study to compare with the pre-treatment scores. Result The decrease of MRS score was more significant in the acupuncture group than that in the Chinese medication group, and the intra-group comparisons between pre-treatment and post-treatment scores showed significant differences（P〈0.001）, and the intra-group comparisons also showed differences between pre-treatment and follow-up results（P〈0.05）. Conclusion The effect of acupuncture in improving the quality of life in post-menopausal women is more significant than that of Chinese medication.
