身份迷失与文本“再造”——论1950年代的沈从文及其作品的重版

Identity Loss and Text Reconstruction——Shen Congwen in 1950s and Reprint of His Former Works

新政权建立后,沈从文基本丧失了创作的权利与勇气,作家身份随之被消解,但在相对宽松的"百花时代",其小说旧作得以再版,重新浮出历史地表。为了迎合主流意识形态,他对作品作了一系列处理,或过滤,或修订。作为沈从文小说出版史上重要的异本——《沈从文小说选集》在篇目的择取、文本的改易上印证了建国初期的文化语境,揭示了知识分子的生存状态。

Shen Congwen lost his right and courage to write since the establishment of new political power in 1949 and ac- cordingly his status as a writer was dissipated. During the Hundred Flowers Movement when political atmosphere was more relax- ed, Shen＇ s novels were republished. To meet the general trend of the mainstream ideology, he either screened or revised his works. As an important variant edition in the publishing history of Shen＇ s novels, Selected Stories of Shen Congwen mirrors the early cultural context of new China in the selection of stories and the changes of the texts, and reveals the conditions of the intel- lectuals of the time.
