Com bining those special requirements for diesel engine pump package in petrochemical industry such as： high relia- bility, quick response, continuous running and so on, the complement defects and potential safety hazard com- monly existing in current production, design, type selection and some other aspects of diesel engine pump pack- age were analyzed with the solutions s put forward at the same time.
