清代滇中名士赵士麟作品集《读书堂集》收诗歌1 588首,诗体有古风、近体、排律等;诗歌内容广博,可分为言志咏史、政务入诗、孝行人伦三个方面;诗歌风格上喜以组诗铺陈,气势博大,意境空澄,忠孝情深,是清初云南官宦诗人的杰出代表。

1588 poems wrote by Zhao Shilin, a social brilliance in Central Yunnan in Qing Dynasty, were included in his Study Thoughts Collections with a wide range of styles, various genres and rich content. All the poems are divided into three types： ambitions, administrations and human relations. As an outstanding poet in Yunnan in the Early Qing Dynasty, he expressed three types poems in elaborate, magnificent, pure and affectionate ways.
