摘要
自古以来,美德社会就是人类梦寐以求的理想社会形成。美德社会是一个崇德向善的道德共同体,是个人完善与社会完善的统一。美德社会何以可能的问题必须从构成社会的人以及社会本身寻找依据。自我完善的道德需要是建构美德社会的人性根基,崇德向善的价值诉求是建构美德社会的内在依据。道德的个人构成了美德社会的微观基础,而道德的社会是建构美德社会的宏观背景。罗尔斯的良序社会是美德社会的当代典范。善治是德治与法治的统一,美德社会则是善治的归宿。
The virtue society is a social ideal that people have been desiring to obtain very much since the ancient times. It is a morality community admiring the virtue and the goodness,which is a unity of moral people and a moral society. Why the virtue society is possible can be found from the communities and the people living in them. The moral need of self- fulfillment is the humane basis of the construction of a virtue society while the value appeal for admiring the virtue and the goodness is its inner basis. Moral individuals constitute the micro foundation of a virtue society while the moral society is their macro background. Rawls’ s well- ordered society is a contemporary model of the virtue society. Good governance is the unity of rule by virtue and rule by law. The virtue society is the destination of good governance.
