On Aesthetic Features of ZHANG Da-qian's Lotus Painting

张大千先生是中国近代绘画史上的一代宗师。在人物画、山水画、花鸟画上,他都有很高的艺术造诣。在花鸟画中,画荷是大千先生尤为擅长的。历经数十年的努力和探索,"大千荷"在中国近代绘画艺术史上独领风骚,具有重要的美学研究价值。其审美特质表现为:水墨为题,气韵生动之美;没骨点戳,清新艳丽之美;泼墨泼彩,气势宏壮之美。

Mr. ZHANG Da-qian was a master in the painting history of modern China. He made high artistic achieve- ments in paintings of figures, landscape and flower and birds. In the flower-bird paintings, he especially was good at painting lotus. After several decades of effort and exploration, ＂Da-qian Lotus Painting＂ found its unique status in the painting history of modern China and had important aesthetic research value.
