This paper outlines the importance of the cultivation of postgraduates＇ innovation ability in China, the qualities innova- tion-oriented postgraduates should possess and the current situ- ation of the cultivation, and then proposes some measures from the innovation of education styles, the construction of tutor teams and the creation of an innovative environment, aiming to further improve the innovation ability of postgraduates.
