New energy material and devices as the national strategic emerging industry professional, highlights the cultivation of college students＇ innovation ability and intemational competi- tion ability. Combining with the professional characteristics and the main problems during the teaching of professional English, we explore the open teaching mode of the international confer- ence, to build the ＂student-oriented＂ classroom. The model in the guidance of professional English courses pays equal attention to professional basic and applied practice, gives priority to the project-based learning, and inspires students＇ comprehensive a- bility to use professional English.
