摘要
英语语音教学的落后源于缺少对语音学研究的认识和对音系学研究的理解。对语音本身的研究不仅是语音教学的重要组成部分,而且还是影响语音教学成功与否的前提。通过对以往英语语音教学法的回顾,建立语音教学方法研究和英语语音本身研究的联结,以促进英语教学在语音教学方法上的突破。
The deficiency in teaching English sounds owes to the lack of a discerning recognition of phonetics research and the fundamental understanding of phonology research. Research of phonetics/phonology itself not only constitutes English sounds teaching but also presupposes successful English sounds teaching. This paper reviews the methods of teaching English sounds from the angle of history and aims at identifying a connection between teaching English sounds and research of phonetics/phonology and making advance in teaching English sounds.
