摘要 在新技术和社会趋势推波助澜下,图书馆作为传统的社会机构遭受种种挑战,美国研究者纷纷对图书馆的未来做出展望。文章述评美国未来图书馆中心所做的未来社会趋势对图书馆影响的研究报告,讨论未来图书馆趋势对中国图书馆的影响。 In the wake of new technological developments and sociocultural trends, the role of the library as a traditional social institution has been challenged. Library researchers and futurists have also presented different visions and predictions about the future of libraries. This paper has a detailed analysis of the "Trends" report presented by the American Library Assoeiation Center for the Future of Libraries, and investigates how new technologies and sociocultural trends may influence and shape the development of libraries in China.
