Identification of a strain of Brucella melitensis biovars 2

为了调查一群怀孕母山羊流产的病原,采用细菌分离培养、PCR鉴定和生物学分型方法对流产胎儿体内分离出的病原进行鉴定。16S rRNA基因序列分析结果表明病原为布鲁杆菌,AMOSPCR和生物学分型方法的结果显示分离布鲁杆菌为马尔他布鲁杆菌生物Ⅱ型。

To investigate pathogen causing abortion in a group of pregnant goats, the methods of bacterial isolation and culture, PCR identifica- tion, and biological typing were used to identify the pathogen isolated from the aborted fetus. The results showed that the pathogen was identified as BruceUa by 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis, and the isolated Brucellawas identified as Brucella melitensis biovars 2 by AMOS - PCR and biological typing.
