文化负载词在《生死疲劳》中的翻译处理

具有民族性的文学作品往往包含着大量的文化负载词汇。在存在巨大文化差异的汉语和英语两种语言间翻译文化负载词时,很难在目的语中直接找到现成的、完全与之对应的表达。因此,从文化比较的角度探讨文化负载词的翻译方法具有重要意义。本文以《生死疲劳》中文化负载词的英译为例,从称谓、人名、文化词语的翻译等方面探讨翻译策略。

Literature works with national character often contain a lot of cultural loaded words. With vast differences about the translation of cultural loaded words between Chinese and English, it is difficult to directly hnd ready - made and completely corresponding expressions in the target language. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the translation methods of cultural loaded words from the perspective of cultural comparison. Taking the English translation of cultural loaded words in Life and Death are Wearing me Out as an example, translation strategies are discussed in view of the translation of the titles, names and cultural expressions.
