中国书法作为中国文化的重要组成部分,包涵了技法、审美到精神丰富的内容。汉字"以形示意"的特征,对中国书法文字字形演化和书写的形式有着重要的影响。"字势"、"笔意"、"形势"等形成了书法的形象基础。书法的高度抽象性决定了它的精神象征性,形成了"书如其人"的艺术理论,突出了书法与中国传统文化精神的密切关联。
Chinese calligraphy is an important part of Chinese culture, which includes such things as writing techniques, its aesthetic dimension and its spiritual richness. The characteristic of the calligraphy＇ s ＂ showing the meaning through the shape＂ has an fundamental significance both to the evolution of the shape of the characters and the writing form. The ＂ power of characters＂, the ＂ power of writing＂ and the ＂ power of the shape＂ constitute the basis of the writing image. The highly abstractness of calligraphy determines its spiritual embodiment, resulting in the artistic theory of ＂writing is the man＂, which tells the close relationship between calligraphy and traditional Chinese culture.
