Comprehensive Free Trade Zone:Motivating the“City of Logistics”

最近,＂打造四个中心,建设现代泉城＂成为了时下的流行语。所谓四个中心,即为区域性经济中心、金融中心、物流中心和科技创新中心。四大中心一经叫响,＂区域性物流中心＂便成为诸多人们关注的焦点。

Twelve years ago,authorized by the State Council,a state-level export processing zone was scheduled to emerge in Jinan as a promising new land.Nine years later,ratified by the same administration,it has been upgraded to Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone.It seemed that the city had undergone a transformation in just a flick overnight Considerable changes have taken place in Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone,the only one of its kind in Shandong's midwest area.The planned occupancy of land was enlarged from 3.2 to 15 square kilometers,in which 5.22 square kilometers were approved by the State Council.Now it has been functionally improved into a zone taking in bonded processing,duty-free logistics,international trade and port customs clearance.The zone never ceases to evolve.The transportation structure arranged in a crisscross pattern has been realized in the zone to give a full coverage of road net.Utility lines of water,electricity,heating,communication and so forth have been installed at the same time.It is also motivated by the commencement of International Commodity Trade Center and Bonded Imports Trade Center,the material test of Cross-border E-commerce Service Platform on June 1st,the accelerated construction of the bonded building with 136000 square meters of floor space.Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone emerged brightly in the east of the city.
