中原地区医学文化在北宋时期曾有过它的辉煌。通过史书、方志、绘画、笔记、杂录等有关材料，对北宋中原医学文化的长足进步进行概述；并对这一时期政治、学术等方面的状况进行较为深入的分析，以探明北宋医学文化勃兴之真正原因。

The medical culture of Central Plains was ever flourishing in the Northern Song Dynasty. This paper summarized its considerable progress through ancient books, local records, drawings, notes and magazine: and analyzed deeply the political and academic states during this time to explore the prosperous reason.
