作为法国大革命时代影响欧洲历史的风云人物,拿破仑把法国大革命的精神带给了他统治区域内的犹太人。拿破仑以革命性的方式解放犹太人,并赋予他们以平等的公民权。同时,拿破仑又对犹太人进行改造,希望他们同化于当地社会。拿破仑对犹太人的政策对犹太人历史发展产生了重要的影响,促进了犹太人的解放进程。犹太人因此走出隔都生活,开始大规模参与欧洲经济生活,职业领域逐渐扩大,社会和文化融入的进程得以加快,逐步同化于所在国的主流社会之中。

as the influential man who influenced the history of Europe during the age of French revolution, Napoleon bringed the spirit of French revolution to the Jews who lived in the areas of his domination. Napoleon emancipated the Jews and gived them the civil right. At the same time, he transformed the Jews in order to assimilate them in the local society. The poli- cy of Napoleon to the Jews effected deeply the development of Jewish history, it promoted the accomplishment of Emancipation for the Europe Jews, the Jews was urged to participate massively the economy of Europe and transformation of their career fields. More importantly, the Jews began to abandon the previous life of ghetto and assimilated in the local society.
