With the development of library science research in recent years, the research approaches of library science is gradually paid attention, and is applied to practice. This paper introduces the development status of the research of library science, carries on the empirical analysis and evaluation on library＇s collection quality, analyzes the results of the evaluation on library＇s collection quality, and probes into the application of the research approaches of library science in collection quality evaluation.
