摘要
英国最新的法律教育与培训评论(LETR)报告于2013年发布,反映了英国最近40年的法律教育与培训成果。LETR以法律服务监管机构的准则为主,结合英国高等教育质量保证署的质量监控机制,有力地保障了英国法律实践教学质量,事实上也证实了英国法律教育机制的成熟性与有效性。目前,我国高校法律教学已显示学生实践能力不强的问题。通过LETR报告,我国法律实践教学可以得到启发,即:减少法学核心课程并完善实践教学环节、建立健全法律实践教学的外部质量监控机制、拓展法律实践教育教学的全球化视野,以进一步深化当前的法律实践教学改革。
The latest Legal Education and Training Review (LETR) Report was issued in 2013, which reflected on the achievements in legal education and training over the last 40 years. Centered on the principles of the legal services made by the commissioning regulators, LETR draws on the UK Quality Code for Higher Education enforced by Quality Assurance Agency, resulting in assuring the quality of education in UK efficiently and effectively, and demonstrating virtually the maturity and efficiency of the systems of UK higher education in law. Some problems, which prove that university students have a poor command of applying the law, appear more frequently now in legal education in Chinese universities. From the LETR Report, the practical legal education in China could benefit much inspiration, including but not limit to, to reduce the numbers of core law courses while perfect the procedures of the practical le- gal education, to establish and promote the outside supervisory systems in regard to its quality assurance, and to develop the global vision on legal education, so as to further reform the current practical legal education.
