Wang Quangen occupies the core position in the academic pattern of Chinese children＇s literature since the new period. This is based on his thirty years of academic activities and fruitful academic achievements. Wang＇s academic a chievements mainly focus on the establishment of the holistie view of Chinese children＇s literature from the history of chil- dren＇ s literature thoughts, basic theory, discipline construction, research of authors and works, interdisciplinary research of childreffs literature and other aspects. This concept and its theoretical results build the discourse space of its own academic personality and the spirit of ontology in the fields of literature, education, press and publication for Chinese children＇s literature. Wang Quangen is the leader and witness of the whole development process of Chinese children＇s literature. He has laid a solid foundation for the good developmental posture of Chinese children＇s literature by his theoretical research of Chinese children＇ s literature and academic pedigree construction.
